What is Dholera SIR?
Dholera Special Investment Region is a notified region in Gujarat envisioned as a global manufacturing and urban hub under the Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) programme. It is one of India's first greenfield smart cities — built from scratch, planned end-to-end.
Development is proceeding in phases. The Activation Zone — the first area of concentrated trunk infrastructure — is where early roads, utilities and urban systems have been tendered and developed by DICDL, the special-purpose vehicle implementing the project.
Large infrastructure evolves over years. Buyers should track official DICDL and government announcements for current status, and treat projected timelines as indicative.
